Torre Maggiore Umbria IGT Le Poggette, is the ultimate expression of the terroir of the hills of Umbria.
Vinified in a traditional way from only grapes of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, has a softness, and fine aromas of red fruits, with notes of vanilla and a slight spiciness, which make it ideal accompaniment for stewed meat dishes, stews and braised, aged cheeses.
Torre Maggiore Umbria IGT Le Poggette red wine is obtained from the harvest in the third decade of October from grapes of the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo vineyard.

In the period of fermentation and maceration, which lasts thirty/thirty-five days, two pumping over operations are carried out per day.
Immediately after racking the wine is stored in small oak barrels with a capacity of lt. 500, this is to ensure that malolactic fermentation can immediately trigger and have a better harmony between the tannins of wine and wood and the fruit of origin.
The wine ages in cask not less than eighteen months before being bottled, subsequently, it spends a period of aging in bottle, before becoming one of the gastronomic excellences of our territory.
